I have deleted the number and reentered and it still give this message.  And in Intuit it says we do have a subscription and it is current and so is the payment method

Login to your CAMPS. Is your Enhanced Payroll license active? Is your QB Desktop 2024 license active?

This error happens when there is a mismatch between the Federal Employer Identification Number (EIN) listed in your QuickBooks company file and the Service Key registered with Intuit. To resolve this issue, ensure that you enter the correct Service Key that was emailed to you, and verify that your company’s EIN matches the one linked to your Intuit subscription.

Here's how to check the EIN:

  1. Open QuickBooks and go to Company, then select My Company.
  2. Click the Edit (pencil) icon.
  3. Under Company Information, check the Employer Identification Number (EIN).

Once verified, make sure you download the latest version of QuickBooks Desktop and the most recent payroll tax table.
