The QuickBooks Desktop app is compatible with macOS versions 10.11 or later, printerstop.

Since the QuickBooks application isn’t launching after your macOS upgrade, I recommend uninstalling and reinstalling the app to ensure you download the latest updates directly from QuickBooks.

Before proceeding with the uninstall and reinstall process, please verify that your macOS update was installed successfully. Once the installation is complete, restart your computer to finalize the changes.

If your iMac M4 is still experiencing issues, such as repeated restarting after the OS upgrade and system reboot, I suggest consulting an IT expert to identify the root cause of the problem.

For detailed guidance on downloading and installing the QuickBooks Desktop app, please refer to this article: Download and use the QuickBooks app on your computer.
