What do you think about the new policy for all payroll taxes?
I was originally signed up for this, QBO was supposed to file the reports and send in the payments. QBO took $5000+ out of my cheking account to pay my NYS-45, quarterly report. It never made it to NYTAX Dept. The report was never filed either. They kept the money for 7 months. They never did admit that they had taken it. I got proof from the bank and sent it to them. Meanwhile, I was penalized for not sending the report and not paying the money due with the report. You know, New York's favorite words: Penalty and Interest. So I paid what was owed and the penalty/interest. So, I went to the New York State Attorney General, my lawyer, and the New York State Consumer Protection Agency. They NEVER admitted that they took out the money, seven months later, it mysteriously showed up in my bank account. No apology, no notification or anything. The money was just transferred to my account. I really don't want to go through that again. That is a pretty bad way to treat their customers. I may switch to a different accounting program before the new policy goes into effect. Has anybody else had this problem?
