What is the pop-up about migrating QB files about?

Best answer by

Welcome back to the Community, @Al M. I’m here to address queries concerning pop-ups in QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT).

To start with, are you referring to the prompt notification of the migration from QuickBooks Desktop to QuickBooks Online (QBO)? If so, the pop-out about migrating QB files is intended for customers who might want to consider using QuickBooks Online.

If you find your interest in moving your files to QBO, you may consider checking out these resources to learn the benefits of moving to QBO and how features and data move there:

Do you have any queries about anything that pops up on your company file? You can always post them here so we can help you with that. Also, questions such as managing your QBDT are welcome to this forum to make sure that you’re equipped with the necessary assistance you may need. Take care!

How do I close this pop up? The buttons are unresponsive to clicks and there is no exit button. This is interrupting my workflow.  The only solution i have found is close QB Desktop and reopen, or switch company files.

I was able to simply click outside of the box and it goes away.
