Hi there, JJ500.

QuickBooks Online doesn’t include an “accountant’s copy” feature like QuickBooks Desktop. Instead, you can easily invite your accountant to access your company directly within QuickBooks Online.

Here’s how:

  1. Sign in to your QuickBooks Online account.
  2. Click the Gear icon in the top-right corner of the screen.
  3. Under Your Company, select Manage Users.
  4. Navigate to the Accounting firms.
  5. Click on Invite Accountant.
  6. Enter your accountant's email address in the field provided.
  7. Select Save.

Your accountant can access your file directly without requiring a separate copy.

If you want to share certain information, you can export reports or lists and send them to your accountant. You can click on this article for step-by-step instructions on how to export reports: Manage and share custom reports.

If you have additional questions, feel free to reply to this thread.
