Why can't i find my user to enter time?

If enter the user i.d. i've been using to enter weekly time to run a report i can see the time for that use i.d. If I try to enter a new weekly time entry for that user, that user i.d. is not available on the employee list.

The user I.D. could have been marked as terminated, on unpaid leave of absence, removed from payroll, or deceased, @gfleury. This is why their time appears on the time report but their user I.D. doesn’t show in the employee list when entering a time entry.

 

To check the employee’s status:

 

  1. Hover over My apps, go to Payroll, and select Employees.
  2. Click the dropdown next to Active Employees and select All Employees.
  3. Choose the employee in question and go to Employee details.
  4. Check the Status section.

 

If the employee’s status matches one of those mentioned above, consult with your HR or company admins to confirm whether the employee was fully removed. You can also review the Audit Log to see if a user admin made changes to their status.

 

If necessary, update their status by going to the Employee details section, clicking Edit, and changing the Status section to Active.

 

Please keep in mind that only active employees will appear in the time entry selection.
