Question

Why did QBO change my default settings when sending an invoice?

No email... no call... no information at all from QBO. I just happened to look over the content when I sent an invoice and noticed my default message had been changed to "happy". I am most certainly NOT HAPPY!!!

I hear your sentiments, Glskunks. QuickBooks Online (QBO) has been gradually rolling out invoice software updates to 15% of our users.

To ensure that your default message appears on your invoices, manually select the Default option from the dropdown menu when sending them.

I also suggest reviewing your Audit Log to ensure that no unauthorized changes have been made to your account.

Here's how:

  1. Log into your QBO account.
  2. Go to the Gear icon, then choose Audit log.
  3. Use the fields on the Filter panel to select the applicable UserDate, or Events filter to narrow the results.

Post here again if you have any additional QBO invoice-related questions, and we will respond as soon as possible.

Why should I have to turn off settings?  They should not be on without our permission!!!   My DEFAULT settings were changed!!  I'm so absolutely SICK of this crap!  QBO has a lot of nerve and it's terribly inappropriate to conduct business in this manner.  This a HUGE breach of trust.  Intuit should be ashamed of these practices.
