Question

Why does the file attachment function to invoices not work?

I am trying to attach a file to an invoice. The file is a zip file that is less than 4MB. I have tried dragging and dropping and also browsing and selecting. It acts like it is uploading but after 5-10 seconds it fails. Is there some odd limitations or file types that are not allowed. The error message just says try again later, which I have. No luck.

Currently, QuickBooks Online (QBO) does not support .zip attachments, leading to upload failures for compressed files. Although the error message reads try again later, QBO automatically blocks unsupported file extensions.

To successfully attach your files, you will need to extract them from the zipped folder and ensure your documents match the supported QBO formats.
