Getting stuck on the loading screen is frustrating, especially when you need the app to get work done. The good news is a handful of troubleshooting steps clear this up for most people. Try these in order:
- Switch your connection. Toggle between Wi-Fi and mobile data to rule out a network hiccup.
- Close and restart the app. Swipe it away from your recent apps, then reopen it.
- Restart your iPhone. Power it off completely, then turn it back on.
- Uninstall and reinstall the app. Delete QuickBooks Online from your device, then download it fresh from the App Store.
- Check for app updates. Open the App Store and make sure you're on the latest version of QuickBooks Online.
- Update iOS. Go to Settings, then General, then Software Update, and install the latest version available for your iPhone.
If you've already tried a fresh install and it's still hanging, you don't have to wait it out. Sign in to QuickBooks Online through Safari on your iPhone in the meantime, with Private Browsing turned off so cookies stay enabled. That keeps invoices, payments, and reports accessible while you work through the steps above.
