Why does the QuickBooks Online mobile app hang on the loading screen on iPhone, and how do I fix it?

Hangs on the INTUIT (Turbotx, Credit Karma QUickbooks Mailchimp) screen and not loading. This started happening 3 days ago... I've deleted app and done fresh install and the problem still remains. I can sign in the Computer but the IOS version hangs etc... This is ridiculous that I spend close to $1000 a year and this is happening etc...

Getting stuck on the loading screen is frustrating, especially when you need the app to get work done. The good news is a handful of troubleshooting steps clear this up for most people. Try these in order:

  1. Switch your connection. Toggle between Wi-Fi and mobile data to rule out a network hiccup.
  2. Close and restart the app. Swipe it away from your recent apps, then reopen it.
  3. Restart your iPhone. Power it off completely, then turn it back on.
  4. Uninstall and reinstall the app. Delete QuickBooks Online from your device, then download it fresh from the App Store.
  5. Check for app updates. Open the App Store and make sure you're on the latest version of QuickBooks Online.
  6. Update iOS. Go to Settings, then General, then Software Update, and install the latest version available for your iPhone.

If you've already tried a fresh install and it's still hanging, you don't have to wait it out. Sign in to QuickBooks Online through Safari on your iPhone in the meantime, with Private Browsing turned off so cookies stay enabled. That keeps invoices, payments, and reports accessible while you work through the steps above.

OK, I'll look into reaching out to Customer Service and start debugging a program that I already pay $1000 a year for... If would make sense if Intuit hired someone to debug their application instead of having customers that are paying for it have to debug it as well...

This is OBVIOUSLY a problem with the Mobile App and maybe compatibility problem or a corrupt account etc... INTUIT should fix this problem without customers having to complain before they look into it... I highly doubt I am the only person that this problem has happened to etc.....

Same here, I was told the QuickBooks app is not compatible with the iOS 18.5 update and it is unknown when it will be fixed.

I got the same reply from support. “The Quickbooks app is not compatible with anything later than 18.2 on your iPhone 13 Pro.” This after they specifically told me to update my

iphone to the latest version. 🤯🤯🤯

Meanwhile no compatibility information exists on their App Store page.

Intuit is one of the worst software companies I’ve ever had to deal with.
