How to increase the font and icon size in desktop QuickBooks

I recently transferred from a Windows 10 computer to a new computer with Windows 11 and the fonts and icons in my QuickBooks Accountant Desktop are horriblly small.  I've gone into the Reports and adjusted to a larger font there, but I just don't see where to make the words and icons on the Home page larger and more readable.

Hi Tax Filer, I appreciate your efforts in adjusting the font and icon size in your QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT).

 

Currently, there is no direct way to adjust it in QBDT, except within the Reports section.

 

However, you can modify your Windows Scale settings to adjust these sizes. Please note that this will affect the appearance of all applications on your computer.

 

To make these changes, you can follow these steps:

 

  1. In QBDT, go to Edit and click Preferences.
  2. Select Desktop View and navigate to the My Preferences tab.
  3. Click the Display button in the WINDOWS SETTINGS section (It will route you to Windows display settings).
  4. Adjust the Scale setting to a higher value, like 125%, to increase font and icon sizes.
  5. Restart QuickBooks and your computer to apply the changes.

The same situation happened with me as TaxFiler.  Going from Windows 10 to 11.

 

The font is just too small.  The solution you suggested will not work for me because I use QB as a remote (Remote Session) user within a company.

Can you tell me if you will be working on this problem for those of us who are Remote?

Currently, QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT) does not offer an option to increase font or icon size within the program, except for reporting. This applies whether you are using the software on your computer directly or through a remote session. I recommend working with your IT team to adjust your display scaling, as they can help ensure that QuickBooks displays more comfortably on your screen.

 

We haven't received any updates regarding this feature, but rest assured, we're continuously working to improve the QBDT.

please provide a solution so that we can VIEW the product we pay for!!! after update I have a tiny top search bar, quick books pro is unreadable due to size of font, and other color issues. Unless I get an answer on why this is happening I will leaving Quickbooks for another software as I am unable to use it
