Logo on credit note, statement

Hello! 

 

I would like to have company logo in credit notes and statement of accounts. Is that possible?

Hi there, @AGNES1408. I'm here to share some information about adding a logo to QuickBooks Online (QBO). Follow along below to get this done right away. 

 

In QBO, once you add a company logo on the Accounts and settings page, this will also appear when you print the credit note and statement of account. Let me guide you on how:

 

  1. In your QBO company, go to the Gear icon and select Accounts and settings.
  2. Next, click the Company tab and select the Pencil icon.
  3. From there, select the plus button in the Company logo section to add a logo. I also suggest checking the criteria needed to ensure you'll be able to successfully upload one.
  4. Once done, select Save and click Done. 
  5. After that, go ahead and create a credit note and statement of account.
  6. To check how the logo shows in the credit note, simply select the Print or Preview button located at the bottom left part of the screen after you finished entering the needed details.
  7. To see how it will be displayed in the statement of account, just click the Print or Preview option located at the bottom part of the screen.

 

On the other hand, you can only upload logos for specific sales form templates such as the invoices, estimates, or sales receipts. For reference, feel free to visit this article: Add, customise, or remove logos on sales forms.

I tried, and successfully upload the logo on the company information. It is the same logo format that I had uploaded for the invoice template. But it does not appear when I create the credit note and statement. Is there any setting I need to do?

A well-designed and properly presented logo that uploads in QuickBooks helps establish the company's brand and personality. With this, there are no other settings that need to be set up other than adding a company logo on the Accounts and settings page to automatically appear on all your sales form. 

 

Please know that the logo should be: a .gif, .bmp, .png, .jpg, .jpe, or .jpeg file smaller than 10 MB24-bits or less in bit depth (or colour depth)square-shaped, since rectangles don’t work using the standard RGB colour space. Then, if your logo is CMKY-formatted, convert it into an RGB image using tools (such as Adobe Photoshop) before you upload it to QuickBooks Online.

 

If the issue continues to occur, I suggest logging in to your QuickBooks account using a private browser. Then, access your credit note from there. This is to rule out the possibility of a webpage issue and ensure private browsing doesn't store local files or cache.

 

Use these keyboard shortcuts based on the browser you're using:

 

  • For Firefox or Microsoft Edge, press Ctrl + Shift + P.
  • For Chrome, press Ctrl + Shift + N.
  • For Safari, hold down Command + Shift + N.

 

If it works in incognito, you'll need to clear the cache of your regular browser. This clears the history or log of sites so you can start with a clean slate. If the steps above didn't work, use another supported browser as an alternative.
