I appreciate you looking at ways to switch back to the earlier version of your QuickBooks Online mobile application. Currently, the option to roll back to the old version is unavailable. I know how beneficial it is to have this feature, so you can switch back to the previous version when you're uncomfortable with the changes in a specific app.
You can consider changing your iOS app updates preferences to turn automatic updates off moving forward. This way, you won't have to roll back an application version and review new updates before you decide and install app updates. You can change this by going to your iOS Settings. Select App Store to turn off or on App Updates. You can reference this article: How to manually update apps on your Apple device.
We have the same problem. A new format is fine, if it is better, but the new format is not better! On our invoices we have a large number of products. Multi select help speed up invoice, but the new format does not have it. The new format is highly repetitive compared to the old format. Quickbooks should have asked what some of the important features were before getting rid of them.
This new update is HORRIBLE!!!! You have removed basic functions....for what? Nothing like taking a good product and turning it into garbage. Maybe check with your users and do some testing before changing something that functions properly. May have to start looking elsewhere for a more user friendly product.
I would just like to support these comments and also add that the new format does not function well on an ipad screen which is how I do all of my QBO. I am a single employee/owner LLC. I would appreciate the option to use the old format as it showed my attachments and information much more clearly. Splitting the screen into thirds does not offer enough information per screen on the small screen of the ipad.
Completely agree. Entering estimates on the iPad since the update is awful. Please go back to the old look where it is full screen and it isn’t divided into thirds and comments can be added that don’t show up on the estimate
I know how difficult it is, @Ken B1. I want to ensure this will be taken care of.
Thanks for posting here and sharing your insights about this. As of the moment, the option to go back to the old version is unavailable in QuickBooks Online (QBO). That said, you can send feedback to our product developer to send your comments or suggestions. Here's how:
In your QBO account, select the Gear icon.
Next, choose Feedback.
From there, enter your comments or product suggestions.
Once done, select Next to submit feedback.
I've also added this helpful resource that you can access anytime if you need references and guidance in performing your QBO tasks: QBO Help articles page.
Please know that you can always post here again if you have any QBO concerns. I'm just around the corner to lend a hand. Have a great day ahead and take care.
