Can a monthly STP lodgement with the ATO be amended once lodged if the payment date is incorrect. EG lodged as 15.12.22 should be 04.01.23. Thanks in advance

Thanks for posting in the Community! If you would like to make any amendments on a lodged pay run, you'll need to unlock it first. 

To unlock a pay run

1. Select Employees from the left-hand menu.
2. Select Pay Runs and then select the Pay Run you wish to unlock.
3. Select Pay Run Actions then choose the Unlock.
4. Enter in a Comment about why you’re unlocking the Pay Run then select Unlock.

Once done, you can change the correct paid date on the pay run. 

1. On the unlocked pay run, click on Pay Run Actions drop-down menu.
2. Then select Adjust Pay Period.
3. Select the correct date the pay run will be paid and click Save.

You can then refinalise the pay run once the information on it are already correct. Then you can create and lodge an update event to report the changes made on the previously lodged pay run.
