Can I enter wages and superannuation without having to go through payroll and pay a monthly subscription. I already use a free payroller account to submit to ATO.

You can record the wages and superannuation paid in QuickBooks Online using an expense or journal entry transaction. Allocate them to the wage expense category and superannuation payable account. Other than that, I'd recommend contacting your accountant to get more information on how to manually record your wages and super in QuickBooks Online.

For easy tracking it is best to use the payroll feature in QuickBooks Online, the set up of your payroll accounts determines the journal entries that you use to record payroll expenses.
