Hi, our old accountant did not lodge the end of year STP. I have finally managed to log in and now i cant finalise it myself. How do i do this

We need to update your ATO settings so you can lodge a finalisation event for end-of-year Single Touch Payroll (STP) on your own, Jorge.

The reason you're unable to finalise it is that your ATO settings are currently configured to your Tax/BAS Agent. These settings are important as they identify your business to the ATO during electronic lodgements. Let's update your settings. Here's how:

1. Go to the Gear icon, then select Payroll settings.
2. Click ATO Settings.
3. Under the I will be lodging reports to the ATO section, choose As the Employer.
4. Fill out the required information.
5. Hit Save.
   
   

Once done, you'll be able to lodge a finalisation event for the end-of-year STP.
