How to I do single touch payroll lodgement on my mobile device?

You'll have to access your payroll account using a web browser on your mobile device, to be able to lodge single touch payroll.  First , completely set up Single Touch Payroll before you can lodge your pay events.

If on the event you're using the QuickBooks Online mobile app, the payroll feature is currently unavailable on the mobile app. Make sure to use a web browser on your phone or for easy access a web browser on your computer or laptop.

Here's you need to do:

1. Open a web browser on you r mobile device
2. Log in to qbo.intuit.com, and enter your User ID and Password.
3. Go to the Employees tab.
4. Click on Payroll Settings.
5. Click on the ATO Settings and complete the set up.

Next, set up Electronic Lodgement and STP. Here's how;

1. Click on the Employees tab, and select Payroll Settings.
2. Click on ATO Settings.
3. Click on the Electronic Lodgement & STP.
4. Follow the onscreen prompts and verify your business info.
5. Call the ATO on 1300 852 232 and provide your Software Provider ID or update your details through the Access Manager.
6. Tick box on the acknowledgment and select Complete.

Once you've fully set up the Single Touch Payroll in your payroll account, you'll be able to lodge your pay events after you've created and finalised a pay run by clicking on Lodge to the ATO button on the pay run or using the steps below.

1. Click on the Employees tab.
2. Click on the Reports tab.
3. Click on Single Touch Payroll.
4. Click on Create update event.
5. Select the Financial year and Pay schedule.
6. Click on Create.
