Question

I have deleted a payrun in October and need to add it back into QBO, however the date keeps coming up as December. How do I backdate a payrun.

Hi there, @alieta.

To backdate a pay run, you can click the Calendar icon in the pay period ending. Then, set up on your desired date.

Here's what you'll need to do:

  1. On your payroll dashboard, click on the New Pay Run button.
  2. On the left navigation bar, pick Pay Runs
  3. Then, hit the New Pay Run button.
  4. Go to the Pay period ending field and click the Calendar icon
  5. Setup date to October.
  6. Once done, click Create

For additional guidance about the steps I've provided above, you can visit this article: Creating a New Pay Run.

Please don't hesitate to get back to me if you have additional questions. I'm more than happy to answer it for you.
