I've set up an automatic pay run. How can I check to ensure this is correct, or if I have to amend any pay hours, etc?

Welcome to Quickbooks Community. 

To be able to check a pay run, you may go to Pay run tab. The Pay run dashboard will show the most recent payrun or you may click on Next to check on older pay runs. You can filter the pay run view based on Pay Run and Pay Schedules. You will also see the Pay run status regarding STP, notifications and journal functions.
