Can I switch the home currency from CAD to USD?

At this time, the option to change the Home currency isn't available in QuickBooks. I can see how having this option would be beneficial for you. I encourage you to leave feedback by heading to the Gear icon and selecting the Feedback option. These comments are viewed and considered by our developers as they create new features and updates for QuickBooks.

You should signup for a new QBO account, purchase a 3rd party conversion service or use a 3rd party tool to migrate data from the old account.
