How do I delete some customer names that I entered in error?

Welcome to Community!  Having the ability to tidy up areas of your QuickBooks Online account is a great way to stay organized.  However, the option to delete customers isn't currently available.  I'd be happy to provide you with an alternative!

When a customer has been entered in error, you can make them inactive to remove them from the list.  Here's how;

1. From the left menu, open Sales and then Customers

2. Locate and select the Customer in the list 

3. Click on the ▼ dropdown beside the Edit button

4. Select Make Inactive

That's it!
