Question

How do I share read-only access to my customer on her account only. I do not want to share all of my other clients if I do it on the Manage User Access page

Hi michaelyau514,

It's nice to see you in Community.  Welcome!  I can understand the need to ensure your client information remains confidential in your QuickBooks Online Accountant firm.  I would be glad to advise!

When you want to make changes to user roles and access rights, for your customer, you need to ensure that you're in the customer QuickBooks Online account.  Once you've accessed their books, you'll go into the Settings ⚙, where you will select Manage users.  This is specific to their QuickBooks Online account only, and will not affect your firm.

Feel free to reach out again, if you have other questions.  We would be glad to help!
