Is it possible to assign a project to multiple customers?

I have clients that all have the same project and I want to assign it to many customers at once.

Hi spriddleluck,

 

Thanks for getting back to us here with additional details of your QuickBooks goals.  You can create custom templates in the Work menu and use them on recurring projects for a consistent workflow.  Here's a helpful guide for creating and using project templates.  In addition, you can manage and track client projects and tasks as indicated here.

Hi there spriddleluck,

It's important that all your transactions have the correct information for your books to be well-balanced. QuickBooks Online is a great tool able to help you create and send invoices for your customers. I can provide some information about projects.

in QuickBooks Online, projects can only be associated with one customer. Expenses can be made to multiple suppliers, then billed to the project, but it can only have one customer paying for the project. One thing you may want to look into using would be class tracking, as transactions from multiple customers can be associated with the class. I can see how having multiple customers associated with your projects would be a feature you'd like to see to help manage your sales and projects. I recommend leaving feedback in the system by clicking on the Gear icon, then Feedback. The comments made in that section are taken into consideration by our developers when creating new features for the software.

I am an accountant and I want to assign projects mainly for workflow.  So, I have hundreds of clients that will have a recurring T1 return project and it would be great to be able to assign that project to multiple clients at once.
