I am struggling to complete my statement. The keyboard keep on jumping as if its malfunctioning which does not allow me to type at all. can anyone please assist?

As I want to type to complete the statement, the keyboard pops up, but disappear too quick to allow me to type. As if it is glitching. I tried to complete the statement on my phone as well as on my laptop.
