Why does the ref field or journal number, not always update?I setup a recurring entry for every day - works fine.When I edit the transaction it does not always update.

In QuickBooks Online(QBO), the succeeding journal number is automatically assigned every time you create and save a new journal entry. However, any edited JE will remain unchanged unless modified.
