Question

Amazon, eBay & Etsy import transactions but don't post sales, fees or shipping to P&L. Only my bank payouts show as income. Is this a setup issue?

I've connected my Amazon Seller, eBay and Etsy accounts to QuickBooks Simple Start. The integrations are importing transactions, but they don't appear in my Profit & Loss. The only income showing is the net payouts I've manually categorised from my bank account. I need QuickBooks to record: - Gross sales (turnover) - Marketplace fees - Postage/shipping costs - Net payout matched to my bank deposit At the moment the marketplace transactions seem to remain in the integration pages instead of posting to my accounts. Is there a setup or mapping step I've missed, or is this expected behaviour with QuickBooks Simple Start?

Yes, this is entirely a workflow step that must be completed, rather than a bug or a limitation of your subscription tier. You need to confirm or add the transactions on the integration page manually for them to appear in your Profit and Loss report.

Here's how:

  1. Go to All appsAccounting, then Integration transactions.
  2. Select your sales channel, then select For Review. Make sure they are categorized correctly to record them in QuickBooks.
  3. In the Actions column, locate the specific data, then click the dropdown menu.
  4. Choose Add/Confirm, then check your Profit and Loss Detail report to see if it's now showing.

If they're still not shown in the report, please check your app settings and ensure that the account you set up is accurate.
