Can I run a report that filters or groups by a custom field value? I use a custom field to track spending by employee, and need to report annual total by employee.

We used to use tags for this, and I could run a report that pulled all transactions with a particular tag. I am not seeing a way to do this for custom fields, or even a way to filter or group a standard report by the custom field value.
