Question

How do I have the Sales by Donor/Customer Detail report print one page per donor/customer? (i.e. include a page break after each donor)

Printing year end donation statements but need to print one per donor. QBO support says I need to select each donor and print them one at a time. I don't want to do this for 500 donors when a simple page break would do wonders.

    Hi @ptb626,

Thanks for bringing this up! Currently, QuickBooks Online (QBO) doesn’t have an option to add page breaks for each customer or donor on reports. I understand how helpful this feature would be, and we’re always working to improve QBO to better serve our users and enhance their experience.

For now, the workaround you’ve been using is the best solution available. As Support mentioned, you’ll need to select each donor and print their statements one at a time. Alternatively, you can export the reports to Excel to further customize them, adding any necessary details or formatting for your statements.

I also encourage you to share your feedback about the page break feature. Your input is valuable, and our developers regularly review user suggestions for future updates. Here’s how you can submit your ideas:

    1. Click the Gear icon in the upper-right corner and select Feedback under Profile.
    2. Enter your suggestion or request in the text field.
    3. Click Next to submit it.

You can stay updated on new features and improvements by checking out the QuickBooks Online Blog.

Can someone explain how to select and print one donor at at a time. I only have 21 donors for last year so it is not formidable to do them separately but I can't see how to chose them one at a time.  Thanks!
