I need to extract "descriptions" but not any report able to support

Hello, info1902.

I'm dropping by to help you extract your invoice list with descriptions. 

Some reports only display the Message on statement data (on the invoice) under the Memo/Description column. 

So, I take it that you're trying to extract the descriptions of the line items on the invoice. So, in this case, we'll want to use a report that shows associated line items. 

The best and closest report we can pull up is the Sales by Product/Service Detail report. By default, this shows all related sales from your customers, but we have the option to customise this to include only the invoices. 

Here are the steps: 

1. Go to Reports.
2. In the search box, type Sales by Product/Service Detail, then click the result.
3. Click the Customise button.
4. Make sure that the Memo/Description is enabled by expanding the Rows/Columns section, then checking Memo/Description. 
5. Expand the Filter section. 
6. Check Transaction Type, then select Invoice from the drop-down menu. 
7. Hit Run report.

We also have the option to change how the invoices are grouped. Just select an option from the Group by drop-down menu.
