Changing categories for entrees through reports is taking 3 min per entree. too long

Welcome to Community!  Your time is valuable and I can see how using reports to edit categories can consume much of your day.  QuickBooks Online provides options for completing your tasks in a timely fashion, so you can get back to what you love!

QuickBooks Online Accountant's can reclassify transactions on your behalf, in one batch.  Another option is to move the transactions with a journal entry.  However, this option would be a last resort, to move funds between accounts, and ensure your books balance.  I suggest speaking with an accounting professional for the best course of action.  If you don't have an accountant, we can help you locate a ProAdvisor in your local area.
