exporting to excel

I recently upgraded to QB online.  When I export a report from QB to excel, it comes up all zeros.  When I highlight the cell the amounts are there.  I clicked the box at the top "enable editing" so I know that's not the problem.  The file is not protected.  Can someone help?

Hi sdavisnet,

Thanks for reaching out to Community.  QuickBooks Online is a versatile program for managing your business with peace of mind.  Exporting your data can be done seamlessly and I can see how blank values can be concerning.  I'd be happy to provide more information.

When opening the report in excel format, the file will be in protected view.  Enable editing will reveal the missing data so you can view the full report.  Follow this link for more information on exporting reports from QuickBooks Online.

Please reach back out if you have any other questions.  We're glad to assist!
