How do I change or edit a G/L Description?

Welcome to Community!  QuickBooks Online enables you to add to or edit your accounts, effortlessly.  I would be glad to show you how!

To edit the description for an account, follow these steps;

1. Open your Settings ⚙ and select Chart of accounts

2. Locate the account in your list, then click on the ▼ dropdown menu in the Action column

3. Click Edit

4. Enter the desired changes and hit Save when done.
