How to moves items to the right chart of accounts. I entered a bunch of pay cheques to the wrong account

Sometimes it's necessary to move your transactions from one account to the other and I'll be happy to help you. QuickBooks is a user-friendly program that enables you to bring your financials into perspective with ease. 

Before proceeding with the steps below, it's important to note that there isn't a way to batch move a group of transactions at once. You'll have to manually edit each transaction and here's how: 

1. Click the Accounting menu.

2. Go to the Chart of Accounts tab.

3. Navigate to the appropriate account for the transaction in question.

4. Click Account history from the Action column.

5. Select the transaction you want to edit.

6. Enter your changes.

7. Hit Save.
