My client wants to sort her Trans Detail by Acct Report by Debits and Credits. It's possible to export this to Excel, of course, but can this be done directly within QBO?

It sounds like both you know your stuff when it comes to reporting in QuickBooks Online, such as being able to add the debit and credit columns to the Transaction Detail by Account report and exporting to Excel to further customize the data. In this case, taking that step to export is the way to go to sort the information by the debits and credits. While these columns can be added to the report, there isn't a way at this time to sort by those columns in QuickBooks Online directly.
