When you have a questionable balance showing on the Trial Balance report, select the balance to expand the view. This will help determine where the balance is coming from. If you notice it's a duplicate entry, you can delete it. In addition, when running the report, you want to verify the Report period and choose how you want to Display columns by. In the Show non-zero or active only field, use the ▼ dropdown menu and select Active rows/Active columns, then hit Run report.
