Which category would rents received from tenants go under? (commercial building) QBO

If there isn't already a 'Rental Income' account in your Chart of Accounts, you would need to create one.  The type of Account will be 'Income'.

Go to the Accounting tab under 'Your Books'.  Scroll down to the Income section of the COA.  If there isn't already an account for 'Rental Income', click on the New button at the top right and create a new account.
