It's a pleasure to have you here in the Community today, @Debbie Polden. I'd be glad to share some details about the features available in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

With QBO, not only you can create receipts but also you can run a report that will show you the data that you need for your business.  QuickBooks also has this feature where you can customize your report to show specific data. You also have the option to send your receipts via online or print it and then give it personally to your customer.

In case you'd like  to print your receipts, all you need to do is to connect a printer to your desktop and then proceed to print your receipts. Here's an article about printing sales form in QBO: Email or print multiple invoices and sales forms.
