How do I put CO2 emissions on journal entries?

As we are not accountants we can advise how to do a journal entry if you know what sections you want to affect in the chart of accounts,we can not advise which chart of accounts to use. Have you been advised by HMRC that you need to record this in QuickBooks? We welcome any other users who have recorded this to reply with suggestions however.
