I'm getting a strange discrepancy when running payroll. The journal number reads Closing Adj. 30.04.32. But no journal number. Please can you advise?

Hi Paul185, thanks for your post! The most likely cause for this would be if a journal entry was entered into the system with the prior number (e.g. Closing Adj. 30.04.31) and the system has defaulted to this sequence, are you able to locate and manually edit the number on the payroll journal?
