I can only think of two (2) scenarios why you're unable to post your last vat report to revenue and unable to access the current quarter return. Let me elaborate on them.
If you've already filed your return and want to access it again, you can go to the VAT Exception Report or to the Submit return screen. You can modify the dates for this report to show your VAT liability or to see total sales and purchases for a different date range. Here's how:
Click Taxes on the left menu.
Go to the Paid returns section, click the drop-down arrow beside View return, and select View exception details.
However, If you don't have an option to access your current return, this happens when a browser stored a lot of caches that can cause problems like bringing up the data to your account or latency issue. You can press the F5 key on your keyboard to refresh the page. You can also log in to your account using a private browser to rule out any cache-related issues.
Here are the shortcuts:
Google Chrome: press Ctrl + Shift + N.
Mozilla Firefox: press Ctrl + Shift + P.
Internet Explorer: press Ctrl + Shift + P.
Safari: press Command + Shift + N.
If you're able to access your current quarter, clear the browser's cache. This removes the history or log of sites so you can start with a clean slate. You'll also want to use a different browser.
