Is is possible to set a preference for the reporting period? I usually run my reports for "This financial year to date" and it is annoying to have to hunt down a list.

It is not possible to set a default reporting period, however you can save report customisations - just run the report for 'This financial year to date' and click 'Save customisation'.

You'll then see this report in your 'Custom reports' section on the Reports tab.
