Why, Since the recent update, my client no longer has the reports option in the left-hand menu? We are using Quickbooks essential online.

I've got the steps on how to show the Report menu in the left panel. 

It's possible that your account is on Business view. This is why the Report section isn't showing.

Let's switch it to Accountant view to change your interface and see this option on the left panel.

Here's how:

1. Click the Gear icon.
2. Under the PROFILE column, select Switch to Accountant view.

It's also a great idea to memorise the report to save its current settings. This way, you won't have to customise it again for the specific data you need.
