If you're still using the old invoice layout, follow these steps to change your default invoice template:
Go to Settings and select Custom form styles.
Look for the invoice template you used before, then click the Action drop-down list.
Choose Make default.
If you're in the new invoice experience window, it could be that the Service date button was turned on. This is why you're setting the Service Date column. To turn this off, proceed with these steps:
Click Manage on your Invoice window.
Select Customization.
Toggle the Service date button to turn it off.
Continue creating the invoice and save your transaction.
