Question

Creating footnotes in a report

When I pull a report such as Budget vs. Actuals, I see there's a way to add notes to the bottom of the report. But at another organization I remember QB reports that had notes that connected to a number in the actual report, so people reading the notes would know exactly what line was being referred to. ow do I add those footnote numbers in the report? Thanks.

You're right, @pcarlson1973!

You can add notes at the bottom of the report. However, we can't add notes associated with a number or amount.

For now, it would be most effective to communicate your feedback directly to our Product Developers. They are genuinely interested in hearing your input and highly encourage you to share your suggestions by providing feedback.

To send your input, here's how:

  1. Open your QBO account.
  2. Go to the Gear icon and select Feedback.
  3. Type in your suggestions and then click on Next.
