Hello there!

I would like to share some insights with you regarding the SEP-IRA process in QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE).

Please note that the option to categorize the SEP-IRA contribution in QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE) is not available. Therefore, you need to manually mark it as a personal expense or transaction, and you must account for it when filling out the Form 1040.

For more information about the updated categories, please refer to this article: Categories in QuickBooks Self-Employed.

You can also check out the outlined article for additional information on managing your QuickBooks self-employed account. This article includes step-by-step instructions on how to record your self-employed income and expenses and prepare your Schedule C.

Additionally, these articles will be helpful for you to get more insights and information about entering your data in QuickBooks Self-Employed:

Please let me know if you have any other questions related to the QBSE process. I'm always here to help. Have a great rest of the day
