Checking the email history for invoices is a breeze. Check out the steps below to get started:

 

Checking Invoice Sent Status

  1. From QuickBooks Online, navigate to the Sales tab and the Customers section.
  2. Click the name of the client whose invoice you'd like to know the email history of.
  3. Find their invoice from the list below. If necessary, use the Filter menu to narrow the transactions displayed. Click the Invoice to open it.
  4. Select More at the bottom > Audit History.
  5. View that status next to the Sent field.

    Looks like this answer is out of date as the interface has changed enough that the steps listed no longer match the UI of QBO.

    Hello there, @hansbrough. I'll share some steps to help you see the email history of your invoices in QBO. 

     

    There are several ways how you can view the email history of the invoices. You can check it on the Invoices page or when opening that specific invoice. Let me guide you on how.

     

    On the Invoice page:

     

    1. To start, change your view to the Accountant view.
    2. Next, select the Sales menu and choose Invoices.
    3. Then, locate the invoice you need to check and click the invoice number.
    4. A small window will pop up that shows the details of the invoice.
    5. To see the email history, select the Invoice activity and see the details.

     

    Another way is to open the invoice and check the Activities section. Here's how:

     

    1. Follow Steps 1 and 2 in the previous steps outlined above. 
    2. Next, look for the invoice you need to view and select the dropdown arrow under Action.
    3. Then, click View/Edit.
    4. Scroll down and check the Activities section.
    5. From there, check the email history details.
