How do I create a chart ("widget") that is broken down by TAG?

Tags are a great way to organize your data, @themrlawrence, and while the Performance Center in QuickBooks Online doesn’t currently support creating charts or widgets broken down by tags, there is still a way to get the insights you need. To achieve the breakdown of expenses by tags, you can use custom reports instead. Here’s how:

1. Go to the Reports menu.
2. In the search bar, look for Transaction List by Tag Group.
3. Open the report and customize it:
   • Use the Customize button in the top-right corner.
   • Under the Filter section, choose the specific Tag Group, and add filters for the data you want (e.g., expenses only, date range, accounts).                                 
4. Run the report to view R&D expenses grouped by tags.

Alternatively, you can explore third-party app that integrate with QuickBooks to offer more advanced charting options directly within the Performance Center.
