Once the automated sales tax is turned on and you no longer need to charge sales tax, make sure to delete any transactions that have sales tax or ensure that the item is non-taxable. You can run the Sales Tax Liability Report to review the list of transactions with sales tax.
After deleting all transactions with sales tax, you can turn off the automated sales tax experience. Follow the steps below:
Go to the Taxes, then choose Sales tax.
Select Sales Tax Settings, then Turn off sales tax.
