If you log in using a web browser, this is why the snap feature doesn't show up. If you haven't installed yet, follow these steps to install the QuickBooks Online app for iOS or Android.
Open the QuickBooks Online mobile app.
Select the Menu ≡ icon.
Select Receipt snap.
Select Receipt camera and snap a photo of your receipt.
Select Use this photo, then Done.
If you are already logged into a mobile app and experiencing issues, let's start with some basic troubleshooting steps like clearing the cache and updating the app. If the issue continues, I suggest uninstalling and then reinstalling the mobile app. This will allow you to start fresh with the app.
Tap and hold the app on your phone.
Drag the app to the Uninstall section.
Select Yes to confirm.
