I have details about customizing invoices and adding overhead and financial gain data in QuickBooks Online (QBO), jo-rjd. Let's work side-by-side to ensure we can attach specific accounting information to your invoices.
Adding overhead and profit in our invoices isn't available. However, we can use the custom field feature and manually enter the overhead and financial gain. This functionality allows you to personalize the contents and appearance of your sales forms and this is available in Plus and Advanced.
Let me show you how:
Go to the Gear icon and choose Custom form styles.
Select Add field. (If this is your first time creating a custom field, select Add custom field.)
Enter a name in the Name field.
Choose the All Sales forms or Purchase Order checkbox. Or select both. (Optional) To show the custom field on printed and delivered forms, turn on Print on form. Otherwise, it’ll only appear in QuickBooks Online.
I'm still here and ready to assist you further with any questions regarding managing invoices to include specific information in QBO, jo-rjd. Just leave a comment below, and I'll get back as soon as possible. Wishing you a productive and successful rest of your week!
Hope you’re doing great. I wanted to see how everything is going about the invoice customization concern you had the other day. Was it resolved? Do you need any additional help or clarification? If you do, just let me know. I’d be happy to help you at any time.
Looking forward to your reply. Have a pleasant day ahead!
