How long should a payment take to clear? This is not the first payment I took but the first one from this vendor card

Well, normal merchant services clear payments in one or two business days. Mine is next day with a 2:45pm cutoff, or two days with a 5:45pm cutoff. I get to choose. When I used to use the Intuit Merchant Service, it was two business days, but that was with the (far superior) Desktop offering.

Based on posts here, when using their Online offering, you never really know when Intuit is going to deposit your money. They have fuzzy standards, and then (apparently) often don't meet them, saying the payments are "under review" - which is something that never, ever happened to me when using the Desktop offering. I couldn't even guess what that means. Normal merchants don't do that. They just funnel money. No review whatsoever: If the payer's bank approves the money, then the transaction is processed. That's literally it.
